Dr. Saidu Balarabe Samaila B.Sc, MBA , FCA, FCITN
Dr. Saidu Balarabe Samaila FCA, FCITN is an honest, hardworking, determined, innovative, creative, and skillful professional whose vision in life is to build a better society that gives equal opportunity to each and everyone. A 1984 B.Sc. Accounting graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria – Nigeria. He also holds a joint Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the university of Wales, Bangor-United Kingdom, and the university of Manchester-United Kingdom (1994 – 1998). Saidu also received a Doctorate degree in Management from the St. Clement University, St. Vincent, and Grenadines for his dissertation “Banking Crises in Emerging Economies (1989- 1999)-the Nigerian experience”
Saidu Samaila was admitted as an Associate of the Institute of Charted Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1988 after passing the final examination in 1987. He became a Fellow of ICAN in 1997 FC.No – 2324 and was license to Practice by ICAN in 1990. He also become an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) in 1992, Admission No. 728 and become a fellow of CITN in 2003, Admission No. 649. He became an Associate of Nigeria Institute of Management in 1990. He is a fellow and member of many other organization including the Institute of Management Consultants. Mr. Saidu Samaila popularly called “SAMBAWA” was born in Sambawa village in 1962.
A trained teacher,who started his working career as a teacher had a stint inAccountancy and Tax Practice immediately after his University Education beforejoining the Banking and the Financial Service industry, where he worked, in everydepartment of the Banking Industry for a period of 17 years. He rose to the position of Deputy Managing Director / Chief Operation Officer. He joined politics in 2002 after he left the Banking and Financial service sector. Throughout his career in Audit and Tax Accounting service, Banking and Finance, he changed the fortunes of the organization where he had opportunity to work. The level of transformation he left behind has been great.
Saidu Samaila has the unique opportunity of serving his Country Nigeria as Honorable Minister of State – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Minister of State – Ministry of Interior / Internal affair, and Honorable Minister of Sports and Social Developments. All the positions are cabinet level positions in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
During this period, he was involved in many multilateral and bilateral arrangements for the benefit of Nigeria. He also received many dignitaries in Nigeria, including the Queen of England, former German President, many Presidents and Prime Ministers; his diplomatic shuttle took him to trips all over the world and in all the continents. He even had the unique opportunity to address the 60th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He is / was a Board member of many companies in Nigeria and abroad. Among which include All African Global Media (Allafrica.com); an award-winning leading Media and Technology firm with its headquarters in Washington DC, USA.
Mr. Samaila is a recipient of many honors and awards among which includes, the Merit award for the upliftment of the Accountancy Profession from ICAN (2004)
Mr. Saidu Samaila, has attended many courses in Nigeria and overseas, in Risk Management, Information and Communication Technology, Audit, Accounting, Banking and Financial Management, to mention but a few.
He had opportunities to lead and be a member of many Federal Government of Nigeria delegations to many countries on many issues such as conflict resolution and Crises Management, Economic Cooperation, Sporting Cooperation, Public Security and Immigration, Multilateral, and bilateral cooperation issues to mentions but few.

Dr Tendai Mhizha
PROFILE
Tendai spent her early years traveling the world and was educated in 6 different countries. She holds a PhD in Business Science from the University of Derby in the UK, as well as a Masters in strategic management. Tendai is a board level leader as well as a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience in Pan-African Strategy and General Management, Marketing, Branding, Market Research, Media communications and Leadership. She has worked for the Edgars Group, Wella and within the Global WPP group extensively and still leads a 30-year-old Pan African Market research Agency, Research Bureau International. She is also the founder and Chief Inspirer of Integra-Africa – offering Unique TRRibe programs (Talent Retention and Return
– through internal brand engagement) and Strategic solutions with Africa at heart. Tendai was the first female Zimbabwean Entrepreneur of the Year in 2004 and she is the author of the widely used 2013 Sub-Saharan African ‘Living Standards Measure’ tool. Tendai is a connector and has worked as a consultant with many Multinational Organisations across Africa and the globe. She was most recently the Managing Director of Insight Publicis, West Africa’s largest communications firm based in Lagos and she also headed innovation and growth for the Publicis business units. She is currently leading the transformation of AllAfrica Global Media in Mauritius and continues to lecture on the GIBS MBA (Gordon Institute of Business Science – faculty of University of Pretoria). She is an avid public speaker with an infectious passion for transforming businesses as well as inspiring people to grow and lead but her foremost mission is the rapid development of the African continent!

Abubakar DanlamiSule (FCA) is a highly creative, tenacious, dedicated and committed professional ready to deliver excellent and skilled performance to both clients and to humanity.
A 1987 B.Sc. Accounting Graduate of the Prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria – Nigeria. Sule is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He is a HCIB of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and an Associate of Nigerian Institute of Management amongst others.
He is a member of the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and a member of the Joint Planning Committee of the Nigerian Economic Society Group (NESG). He is an Alumni of the Wharton School of Business University of Pennsylvania USA Executive Development Program.
Sule attended many courses and seminars in Nigeria and abroad. They range in areas of management, central security depository, oil & gas finance, asset & liability management, financial mathematics, foreign exchange trading & simulations, treasury management, open market operations to mention but a few.
Sule’s vast career started at the Central Bank of Nigeria where he worked in Banking operations, public debt office, exchange rates office amongst others.
His commercial banking carrier took him to six major banks; namely: Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, Continental Trust Bank Limited, NAL Merchant Bank Plc, Sterling Bank Plc and Keystone Bank where he retired as Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
Sule had a unique opportunity of working in each and every department of Reserve Banking, Merchant Banking or Wholesale Banking, Retail or Commercial Banking. He also held every available position in financial service sector – banking, from the lowest to the highest level. At the height of his glorious commercial banking carrier, Abubakar Danlami Sule was the Acting Managing Director of one of the top 25 Nigerians Banks- Keystone Bank Plc.
Abubakar Danlami Sule (FCA) bring these varied experiences to Saidu B. Samaila & Co. as a Consultant. Our clients will richly benefit from his specific and general expertise in the fields of management, development banking, retail banking, training, accounting, finance, tax, capital market and money market amongst others.
He had an early stint in Accounting Practice with Deloitte between 1983 to 1984. He also had a very long stint in government at various level and Ministries, Departments and Agencies. This accounted for his vast knowledge in public sector accounting. Labbo is specialist in Public Sector Accounting.
Among the government organizations he has worked with are; Agricultural and Rural Development Authority, in old Sokoto State where he rose to the position of Financial Controller, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Abuja as an Assistant Director and Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun as the Director of Finance and Supplies.
He has also worked with the National Universities Commission as an Assistant Director. He was appointed as the Kebbi State Commissioner of Agriculture where he was responsible for the formulation of Agricultural policies for the state in relation to the Federal Agricultural policies amongst others.
He is very vast in information technology having attending many courses in Nigeria and abroad. Labbo has vast knowledge and experience in Nigerian and World Bank procurement, policies, procedures and guidelines. He is an expert in the preparation of final bidding documents, maintaining project expenditures, organizing, supervising and coordinating the accounting procurement of World Bank projects and the Nigerian Government
He has served at various State and Federal committees at different capacities. He is married with children

Yusuf Usman holds a B Sc. (Hons) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the Prestigious University of Lagos. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
He has had over 25 years of cognate experience with tasks, duties and responsibilities focusing on Information Communication Technology, Accountancy, Auditing and Assurance, risk assessment and special investigation, training and general business advisory.
He has been a board member of various companies and reputable firms, with vast experience in Information and Communication Technology, Audit and Assurance, Tax management, General Business Advisory and Training.
His experience are drawn from the various audit, trainings and tax consultancies he has had with both public and private sector organizations such as National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna, National Assembly, National Assembly Service Commission, National Electricity Regulatory Commission, Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc and a host of others.
His desire and pursuit in life is to continue to add values to the lives of individuals and organizations he encounters and to become a seasoned professional in the field of finance and accountancy. He is married with children.

Other team members
Raymond Mbua Akam is a Bachelor of Science degree graduate in Accounting from the prestigious University of Abuja. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
He has overseen the audit of Revenue and Expenditure of several notable hotels and Supermarkets in Abuja.
During the course of his work, he has gained a lot of experience in the preparation of bank reconciliation statements, basic books of accounts, maintenance of adequate petty cash book and so on. He is very proficient in the preparation and submission of proposals in the areas of tax, accounts, audit and financial consultancy, preparation of audited accounts, filing and tax processing at the Federal Inland Revenue Service, audit and monitoring exercise, payment and filing of VAT, CIT and EDT at designated FIRS offices and State Internal Revenue Boards.
He has also had the opportunity of being in a team where he pioneered the design of proper accounting system, back duty audit recovery exercise, review and evaluation of company tax, supervision and ensuring internal control system to notable corporate organizations.
He has lectured in various ICAN and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) learning centers in Abuja in different courses such as, Financial Accounting, Indirect Tax, Tax Management, Audit, and Investigation amongst others.
He will bring on board his vast experience to Saidu B. Samaila & Co. This unique professional has a lot to offer our clients in the areas of Tax, Accounting, Audit, Training, and ICT.
Vivien attended the Madonna University where she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in the year 2008. She later proceeded to obtain an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with the National Open University, Abuja.
She has over the time acquired certification on the use of Sage 50, certificate of training on Utilization Review and Management in Health Insurance and Managed Care and certified member of Peer Educator Trainer on HIV.
She has special skills in the use of accounting software- Sage 50, excellent use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, strong numerical abilities, problem-solving skills, and good knowledge of Nigerian Tax System.
Amongst the duties, she has had opportunity in performing are the preparation of financial statement and reports including general and subsidiary ledgers and supporting schedules, review and audit of all cash receipts, preparation of bank reconciliation, preparation of and filing tax remittances for payment.
She has worked as an Accountant with AK-AY Energy and Construction Nigeria Ltd and as an Audit Senior with Dimeji Olatunbosun & Co. Chartered Accountants, Abuja.
She is a highly intelligent, courteous, calm, observant, innovative, organized and highly focused professional Accountant. We believe Ngozika will bring to Saidu B. Samaila & Co. all her focus, innovation, creativity, zeal and determination to the service of our clients.
Hussein Ayodeji Salaudeen attended the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Hussein is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) having qualified as a professional Accountant in 2020.
Amongst the experience he has had over time in his career as a professional are with Farm Galari Limited, Prevera Construction Company Limited and ASKAB Radio-Diagnostic Centre as Finance Officer, Internal Control Officer and Marketing/Accounting Associate respectively.
Amongst the duties he performed in the various organizations are keeping records for daily transactions, taking charge of the financial health of the company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements and also managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and account receivables.
He was also charged with the duty of preparing, alongside other team members, the audit manual and plan, and conducted the risk assessment across board. He prepared risk management reports and provided recommendations for improving business operations. He also assisted the organization in defining project objectives and ensuring that resource materials are risk free.
At ASKAB Radio-Diagnostic Centre, he oversaw the creation of brand marketing campaigns, communicated with customers and other stakeholders to understand customer satisfaction and to receive feedback.
He is very proficient with the Microsoft office suite, and he has been honored with Award of Excellence while in school at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Hussein is a team player and will work with a number of other professionals to help the clients of Saidu B. Samaila & Co. with issues in our core areas of focus.
Fatima Abdullahi is a graduate of International Relations from the renowned Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria from where she bagged a B.Sc., in International Relations.
An enthusiastic, focused, and dedicated administrator, Fatima has had the opportunity of working with various startups where she played a pivotal role in providing business support and delivering consistent growth to these organizations. Fatima is a team player with excellent communication skills and good working knowledge of ICT.
With many years as an administrative support personnel, Fatima hopes to proactively support the clients and staff of Saidu B Samaila & Co., in achieving groundbreaking results as the firm’s Administrative Assistant.
Esther Ann Uduma is the IT Specialist for Saidu B. Samaila & Co. She has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and some broad experience working as an IT Support Technician and an Access Control Technician. She possesses a thorough knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
Before taking a full-time position at Saidu B. Samaila & Co., Esther worked as the Senior System Integrator at Satcom Integrated Resources Limited, and as an Access Control Technician at Omni Controls Limited.
She is huge on self-development and seizes any opportunity available to learn something positive. She regards herself as a creative person and she loves to create videos on the side.
