TRAINING DIRECTOR

Job Description

We are looking for a Training Director to design and oversee all learning and development programmes within and outside our firm.

Requirements and Skills

  • Work experience as a Training Director or Manager or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, seminars, simulation, e-learning, and coaching, etc.)
  • Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational psychology, or relevant field.
  • Membership of ICAN, NIM will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a holder of CMD’s Train-The-Trainers’ (Basic and Advanced MANDEV) certificates.

Responsibilities

  • Use performance reviews and skills gap analysis to identify training needs of public and private sectors and subsequently submit our expressions of interest to them.
  • Plan training programmes based on organizational goals.
  • Oversee learning activities, curriculum, and resources.
  • Manage the firm quarterly and annual training budgets.
  • Evaluate the results of learning courses.
  • Implement coaching sessions and mentoring programmes to establish a culture of continuous learning.
  • Recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses).
  • Market our firm and get training jobs for the firm.
